ONE POT SMOKED RUSSIANS & ORZO RICE

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 1 Onion, Chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic, Minced
  • 5 Thompsons Selection Smoked Russians, Thickly Sliced
  • 1/2 Red & Green Peppers, Chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Curry Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Paprika
  • 1 Tinned Tomatoes
  • 2 Cups Orzo Rice, Cooked
  • 2 Cups Baby Spinach

Method

  1. Sauté onions, garlic & Thompsons Selection
    Smoked Russians until onions are translucent.
  2. Add curry powder, paprika and allow to be
    fragrant, about a minute or two. Stir in tomatoes
    and reduce heat to a slow simmer.
  3. Fold in cooked orzo rice allowing the Russians
    tomato sauce to coat evenly as the spinach
    soften.
