Mini Beef Pita’s
INGREDIENTS
- 125ml Cooking Oil
- 4 Thompsons Select Beef Burgers , cut into 4 and shape into mini meatballs
- 2 Cups Double Thick Plain Yoghurt
- 5ml Black Pepper
- 1/2 Cucumber, Cubed
- 1 Punnet of Cherry
- Tomatoes, halved
- 250g Feta Cheese
- 250g Lettuce Leaves
- 12 Mini Pita Pockets
Method
- Heat pan and lightly fry the meatballs on
- medium heat until they are evenly cooked,
- set aside.
- In a separate dish combine yoghurt,
- cucumbers and black pepper for taste.
- Lightly warm the Pita breads and cut in half
- creating a pocket, stuff the pockets with
- Lettuce, Meatballs, top with tomatoes a
- crumble of Feta and drizzle of the yoghurt
- sauce.
